You can choose one of the following

- Landscape Design
Now you can learn the art
of landscape and garden design with internationally celebrated
landscape designer/builder and author/photographer, Keith
Davitt.
You can participate in the same garden design
courses Keith has brought to Botanic Gardens across America, with
far greater detail and individual attention to your specific areas
of interest and your particular needs. Choose individual or group
one- to five-day classes.
Working with images and layouts
of your own gardens plus Keith's current projects, you will learn
how to 'see' a space and its potentials, and how to develop those
potentials according to design parameters suggested by the site
itself, as well as the nature of the people the garden is to be
for.
Your focus will be on allowing your creative process
to be guided by the salient features of the space ('Finding the
Genius of the Place'), along with the nature and needs of the
client, in pursuit of a design that is completely appropriate and
completely original, without contrivance or arbitrary elements.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced designer, the classes
cater to all levels of expertise.

- Landscape Construction
Beautiful garden
design is only of value if it can be implemented beautifully,
which is the focus of this course. Your instructor Keith Davitt
has been building gardens across America and abroad for
twenty-five years. There is no aspect of landscape construction
with which he is not intimately familiar.
In the
construction classes you will learn to build beautiful walkways,
patios, walls and water gardens and any other aspect of landscape
construction you choose.
Your Cost
$600.00 per person
for one day
$1,000.00 for a two day course for one
person
Both classes include five follow-up sessions by
e-mail or mail.
You will be given a discount for additional
days or for multiple students, and we make every effort to combine
several students into one class, if you desire. Your complete
satisfaction with the courses is guaranteed.
Note: It is
advisable to reserve your place well in advance to be sure of
participation and accommodations.

practical considerations like directions and accommodations, which
are available from a variety of excellent B&Bs, a beautiful
hotel and motels, as you choose, at a 15% discount to all
landscape design students. Many people make this their
Learning Vacation.
